I have had this male since 12/30/21 when I got him at 2.0-2.5 inches. He’s now (1/15/23) between 7.0-8.0 inches. His pearls are continuing to develop and spread across his face and lips. This Carpintis has such intense blue coloration. I have kept Carpintis on and off for the last 15 or so years and this guy is one of the best looking males I have ever had. I hope this male still has some growing to do and gets to 10+ inches.
I’m loving how his pearls have started to fill in across his face. I got him as a 1.5-2.0 inch fish on 12/31/21. My best calculation has him at roughly 20 months old right now and 6.5-7.0 inches long and 4.25-4.75 inches tall using a ruler on the outside of the tank when he swims against the glass. I’m hoping he still grows more. Anyone else in MFK have a big 8.0-10.0 inch carpintis? I know

has two males that are at or over that size.
Lol…..I’m not trying to make him obese. I try to feed the other juvenile Carpintis he’s with. He just gets too much of the groups portion. But thank you for the compliment. He is a big boy.
