Did you try something fishy inc? The owner Dave is a good dude. Try them.
Pretty sure website is somethinfishyinc.net.

I did not know about Something Fishy, they are actually not too far away - I'll contact Dave, send him this video link and see if he is interested.

If you post a thread in the marketplace and label it properly as a free pickup, I suspect you'll find somebody. That's worked quite well for me in the past with animals I couldn't house.

I'll do that, especially if trying Something Fishy does not work.

Damn he is a beast. It's shame you can't keep him. Looks like he has tons of personality. I'm sure you'll find a good home for him.

He is a beast, and has been fairly easy to keep, just feel bad that he is relegated to a tank by himself where he does get any real attention.

what about upgrade your tank to a 75? it has the same 48 inch length, but is 18 deep.you could also post the fish on CL and other cichlid websites

I would love to move him to a larger tank, I also have a 90 gal SA/CA tank set up in my living room, he was orginally part of that set up as a juevenille - that was unitl he started beating everything else in the tank up and subsequesntly found himself in a time-out tank.

I don't think my wife would go for a 75 in addition to my 90 and 55. :grinno:

At RBoydIV's suggestion I contacted Dave at Something Fishy - he is going to take him.

Once I take him to Dave's I'm thinking of keeping the 55 gal running as a grow out tank - I have some SA/CA cichlids in my 90 gal that could use some time alone to gain some size - no sense in shuting it down.

Thanks for the replies.

Good, glad I could help. Dave also had a nice selection of fish. Wouldn't be surprised if you came home with something new.
