Head or waist?

That's funny, I have a midas that goes into a rage whenever I have a red t-shirt on.

I'm planning on building a better stand for one of my tanks. I read somewhere that fish are less spooked if their tank is head level as apposed to waist level. Any thoughts or experiences?

I can agree, my fish freak out more when I approach the tank then when my 6 year old daughter does.

I ended up building it at waist level. After I built it to where the center of the tank was at my forehead I realized that I would have to get a small ladder to reach in. Haha
