I'm not terribly fond of them either but a nice nicely kelrino could tempt me.

Some people like hybrids and some don't...I would guess that most of the serious hardcore cichla keepers here are purists and would rather not have mixed species of bass and I wouldn't blame them.

Actually saw pics of some of the kelquitis... More yellowish than silvery/blue if you ask me... Some spanglings here and there as well and head shape more of a kelberis... Unfortunately don't have the photos with me but they were the actual 2.5-3 inch babies... If anyone has pics of them please post them here! I honestly would get one just to see and not be left out.. I know my reason is kinda stupid but i dunno why i think like that... But im also really hoping that this will be the last hybrid that comes out.
