They had in new discus and they looked good. Its just the price of them that don't look good.:D Yes, those sick discus were replaced with the new and healthier ones.

Their tanks and dry goods, which I have found to be the cheapest. I have been waiting every year for the sale, but unfortunately, I will be out of state this sat.:irked:

I wanted to buy food and some live rock as well as some saltwater fish.

I saw the L-25 that they had and he/she does not look too healthy.
 
The tanks and stands are not included in the 20%off store supplies deal according to the flyer,fw fish 50%off,sw fish25%off.I have seen their discus before but have not payed too much attention on account that I am not into them yet but Ihave seen the system that Aquarium Center has and notice the difference in the two,unfortunately I cant get up there untill after work,about 4pm and any good fish that I would have bought will be gone.

The betta would get eaten,already have enough calendars,but I really would like a t shirt.This should be a lot better than previous years with the bigger building and all,when they had this promotion in the other store it was soo crowded that you couldnt see the fish in the tanks.Fish Factory has to do something to compete.

Thanks. I think I am going to head up there and check the store out. I've heard of them before the fire and knew that they opened up again but never got a chance for a visit.

As far as discus goes. It doesn't belong in a LFS unless that's their specialty. The cost/time for dedicated system just doesn't make it feasible for LFS to provider high percentage of quality discus. AQ is doing a pretty good job with their discus but it also make their discus price on the high side.
 
im sending my wife up there to get some fish for me...Fish factory owners actually handed out cardsand flyers to the people who were watching the old hidden reef burn down..CLASSLESS AHOLES IMO...Hidden reef has cheap dry goods etc.Fish r priced high.I 10'' mono for 200.00..cmon..THis guy Jason use to be 2nd guy in charge there was Great ever since he quit, to many little kids working there and its hard to find help in the da fish room..

I wasnt aware that FF pulled that stunt with the flyers,textbook ***hole tactics.This new place is three times the size of the original but I still miss the old location,it seems their selection is not up to where it used to be and the old place was easier on the gas tank also.
