I have been feeling really left out hearing all the stories on here with you guys being able to buy uncommon fish(fish not sold at petsmart) and your awesome LFS’s. I found one!
I never knew they existed, I was like a giddy little kid when I walked into the fish section, they had so many fish I had been looking to buy and have bought online. They also will order you any fish they don’t have in stock.
They have all the commons that a petco/petsmart would have so I wont list them…

Glad to hear the store is doing well again. I stopped going there about two years ago after new ownership just about drove the place into the ground in my opinion. Maybe now I will have to take a trip back up there (about an hour) and see whats up.

its about 45min form me, but worth the trip IMO. I live in Carroll County, know of any other good places?

House of Tropicals, Exotic Aquatics, Riverdale Pets, Ricks fish and Pets, Tropical fish World, Congressional Aquarium, Showcase Aquarium......All of these are in close proximity of DC and Baltimore

Aquarium Depot recently switched ownership I believe, for a while there they were doing pretty badly..glad to see there doing better and have an upgraded selection

I had read some bad reviews online, but I called them to see there stock and after talking to them realized it would be better if I just went there and I was glad I did. The people there seem to actually know about fish and I had some good conversations. There tanks seemed good to me, I saw no dead fish trip one, trip 2 I saw 1 dead puffer being eaten by another, they had removed it before I left (I didnt tell them). They actually label brackish fish as brackish too. I will say I have not been to alot of real LFS, I've been to Seabreeze in Timonium (not a fan), Deep Blue Tropics (They closed and now the owner works at Aquarium Depot), One Fishy Business (not enough stock), and of course Petsmarts/petcos. I really was impressed by this place. I will say that they DO sell painted/tattooed fish so if that stops you from buying at a store dont go here, I dont believe in it but I do get that they probably sell well, and in this area a LFS has to sell what sells. This place has made me want to go buy more tanks to get some of these fish, specifically the wolf fish, and maybe a brackish for the Mono's and Scats.

Sounds like a nice store, any LFS with black aro's and gars gets an A+ from me...
