It's not a chancho. ID your fish before you go around posting what you have when you don't. I usually keep my mouth shut, but I hate bad info. Odds (90%+) are it's a low-grade flowerhorn or a cit/lab mix, but post better shots and I'll do my best to ID it.

I aggree, Definitely looks like a low grade Flower Horn or a Vieja cross. Vieja will cross with anything.


I wanna get a few of these Amphilophus sp. "Chancho" to add to my barred/stiped Amphilophus collection. I dont like fish for colors I like them for personality if I wanted colors I would grow some flowers. My barred midas have more personality then my fat old dog.:ROFL:

The base color changes from yellow orange to orange red in breeding mode. The male grew a lot faster compared to my J. Rapps male Barred Midas. It also has a taller and thicker body and forehead. Very young pair.
