Healing open wounds

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo

oh my goodness! That lungfish is awesome.

I keep forgetting your upgrade plans. When are you upgrading and is it a for sure thing?

Upgrade plans are to upgrade to a 180 in the future, when I get my own place again. Unfortunately due to my career/school situation, I'm living with my parents and trying to save money. Basically I'm having to do pre-reqs and try to decide what I want to do/apply for grad school...So while I'm living with my parents, which will be for at least until the end of the year, I'm only allowed the 55gal.......

It might be a better idea to stick with UJs, but the question is, would they be good in there for a while in the 55 gal? I would never want to stunt a fishes growth or have a poly be uncomfortable.

(even though I want to go full on ornate, big 3, and south american lung fish....guess I'll have to wait until I make money and am more stable/established with a job....)

so the short answer is. Upgrade is the aspiration/goal, but tentative due to living/career/school/financial situation. Still having to pay medical bills. Still don't know what I want to do for a long term career. So I guess I will try to be responsible. Or rather my parents want me to be. Rightfully so.

Because tank upgrade isn't certain or in the near future....I think I should go for smaller poly? or should I do no poly?

I would stick with the smaller UJs myself.

Others here can chime in too re: the 55... how wide is it? I know they're 4' long.
