Anyone know how long it'll take for my blk to heal his scales? And is there anything I can do to help him in the process?

aquarium salt and clean water to ensure he doesnt get a bacterial infection. shouldn't be too long

If the scale was completely removed your looking at least 5 weeks or longer to fully heal back depending on size of Aro. My 23" Aro lost a couple scales couple months back and today they are not fully recovered yet and my water quality is superb. The scales came back just not fully recovered perfectly yet.

when my silver aro hit the aerator, he lost one big scale.... in 2 weeks time, there is a hard surface plate
in the missing scale area already.... in 4 weeks, scale is fully develop but with different shade of color.
and this is the scale that had fallen in him:

Yes adult aro's scales get quite big. This was one of my aro's bottom scales which is smaller then his middle scales. My aro's middle scales are 1.5 times larger size then this one he lost.

Bottom scale was larger then a toonie! ($2.00 CAD coin)
