Excellent article on electric fish! I am going to order a piezoelectric microphone right now to listen to my Aba aba! Do you have to shut off all electrical accessories in the aquarium (powerheads, filters, lights, etc) before attempting to listen? Also, do you have to put the fish in a small tank (as you did in the photos) or can you use the main tank (which in my case is 55 gallons)?
