Heat wave, what heat wave?

Just pulled into the driveway and saw this. It's the hottest I've seen it here and I've been here six years. My neighbor tells me the summer before I got here they had three straight weeks over 120°20160620_155223.jpg
 
They are having quite a heatwave across sections of the southwest with those fires going on.
 
Phone says 97° I hate the heat. Even worse Im stuck at home without ac!! :/

For the second time in over 20 years we are in a record cooler summer. Our normal summer has temps in the 100 by the end of May. Right now(last week) we finally hit 95. At the end of May we were still in the 80's
 
Here we hit the 100s a little early. It's been going on for about two weeks now.
 
over here summers on average reach 31'c - 35'c (91F - 95F) but to make matters worse, our humidity levels are basically constantly at about 80%-90% if not more... so the minute you walk out your door, you already start to feel the sweat sticking to your body....
