Heater brand recommendation

I have the aqueon pro heaters on nearly all my tanks and I love them. The jagers are really good as well though.

i have had the worst luck with all heaters, but seem to have the best of luck with JAGER. even my original all black OG Ebo Jager is still working.

Black ones aren't that old, the originals are all green with a rubber end cover.

if you hate your coworkers, go and get a Marineland Stealth

if you love your fish and office, get the eheim jager

+1 on Jager heater as well. Got 2 that are 7 years old and still running strong.

X2, I use the aqueon pro's on all of my tanks, they are inexpensive, easy to find and haven't failed me yet.

Interestingly enough I spent my day going to LFS's and box stores looking for eheim jager heaters....and not one carries them. I even went to two stores listed on the manufacturer's website to find sellers.....called those places and they don't carry either.

Guess it's off to the internet...In the meantime I borrowed a heater from a friend to take out the faulty Aqueon Pro heater.

i have 2 fluvals and they work great and you can read temp there digital with a shock proof ABS plastic case but there liek 50$ each

I only run titanium heaters with controllers. Newest tank has the Jehmco version of a Ranco controller with a 1000 watt titanium tube.

the cascade heaters work really great for me. eheim jager also a great choice as everyone has said
