Heater comparison

I like the aqueon due to colour and non glass, but I have had one not able maintain temp. The majority of my heaters are the aqueon. I think the eheim/jager has a rep that speaks for itself, shame they are ugly, I keep a couple around and they are cheaper than the aqueon around here.

After reading this I think ultimately if I land on a pair of eheim jagers or aqueon pro's attached to a finnex heat controller I should have a pretty decent setup.

I have both and like both but the pro's are my favorite heaters.

I buy the 500 Watt Finnex from Ken's Fish for $28. I have been using for about two years with no failures.

I have a 200 watt Eheim Jager in my 75 gallon. Keeps the temperature steady as a rock. I would highly recommended one to anybody.
