any one have a good way to conseal the heater so the ray doesnt get hurt i dont have a sump that would be to easy lol

get a rena smart heater they can connect to rena filters and the outside doesnt get real hot. or you can use pvc and drill holes in it. also i think rena makes an adapter to hook on to other filters im not sure if this is true as i have mine hooked up to an xp. but you might be able to find out. pvc drilled is the easiest and cheapest just make sure you sand it down a little afterwords to smooth the drilled holes and get the loose plastic off.
fluval e series comes with a heater guard as standard.
or buy a guard for the heater you have.
if you put it in pvc pipe make sure loads of flow can get threw the pipe or it wont be very effective at heating the tank! maybe put the filter out let on one end so it flows threw the pipe over the heater.

These are inline heaters that come in 200 and 300 watt.

Hydor makes inline heaters too.Thats what i use.But other wise just a heater gaurd and they are cheap.
