Ok i have noticed everyone is talking about covering their heaters so the ray wont get burnt. I was thinking of ideas and stumbled across the idea of the end of a vacuum like the black attachment, and placing my heaters inside them. I would drill holes in the side so heat could escape. Would this work and protect the ray? Thanks

The piping wouldnt get too hot would it?

maybe...u'll have to wait and see...or for someone to chime in with an answer

I still think it would be better than direct contact with the heater itself.

Pipe isn't gonna get too hot, certainly not if you drill enough holes - and if you don't drill enough holes the heat isn't going to get out to the tank.

Yeall i make sure i drill enough holes for heat to escape. I will post pics after i finish drilling them. THanks

Try this. Just made it today. Works and looks great. I just went to Menards and got this from the "Sink and Faucet" section and drilled holes in it. The suction cups holds the pipe from floating up. Only cost $3.99.
