Heater decisions...

Well.. The 125 i picked up came with a Hydor Theo 400w heater, yet it will not heat the tank by its self.

I had the Theo heater going and an old 150w stealth heater going and the temp was very slowly rising.
Both heaters never shut off in 2 days.

So i unplugged both and went heater shopping.


Brought home a pair of Fluval M300's and a pair of Eheim Jager 250w heaters.
Now, which pair do i use? Decisions Decisions..

Really wanted a pair of 300w Hydor ETH heaters but just havent ordered them.

Any suggestions between the two brands?
I know Eheim is great, ive got Fluval's in 2 other tanks and they seem to be doing great.

I have 2 300 watt jagers heating my 300 gallon that has around 75 gallons of water in the sump and I love them best heater I have ever owned

I only use Ebo Jagers.

i have two 250w aqueon heaters in my 130... with another 25 or so gallons in my sump, my water is a constant 84 degrees

Going to toss both Eheim's in there and see what happends.

Save the Fluval's for another time.

Set both dials at 83, we will see what happens, Tank water is at about 74 right now.

I have 2 hydor eth on my 125 and love them. Order the hydors and return the others when the hydors come in.

I just bought two jagers for my 150g. I got a 150w and a 200w, i hope that does the job..
