My heater is messed up and I need a new one...

I'm looking at the Via Aqua Titanium and wondering if it is any good (link below). I'd rather spend the cash and get quality vs. dealing with the issue I am having right now.

Rena Cal Top Light.... blah!

Did you have your heater laying sideways at all I know that all heater's will fail if laid on side from being told this by several manufacture's I deal with from having so much fun with failing heater's and heater's shocking me and putting volt's in the tank. Via Aqua Titanium heater's are great heater's worth the money.

Instead of buying one heater rated for the volume of your tank, buy two undersized heaters. This will protect in two ways, one if you have another failure you tank will not be left completely without heat. You will also have protection from your tank being overheated, in case one of the smaller heaters sticks on.

Howdy,

I have a super old 200w Jager that heated a 125 to 82 by itself for years. I moved it to a 75 and put 2 x 250w Stealths in there and they can't make the tank any warmer than 78. It's annoying.

The 250w Titanium I have in my eartheater tank keeps it a nice and toasty 84. I love it. I got it used so I got a steal but I'm in the market for more heaters now and will definitely pay the money for the right ones.

Stay away from the Stealths. They suck. And every other heater I've had has either burned out or overheated a tank.
