I had two of the Rena Cal 200 watts on my 60 gallon.... I know its kinda overkill but it gets cold in Wisconsin. Anyways when I came home my tank was at 89 degrees, so I guess the thermostat blew on one of the heaters. I pulled it from the tank, and now its back down to about 81. Seems to be holding steady, so I should be okay for a little while until I decide which avenue to go. Sounds like the Ebo Jaegers are a pretty good choice. I really want something that will be accurate and durable.

i personally love my stealths... i have them on all of my tanks.. never had any problems with them..
