heater in sump

i am currently running 1 fluval hagen 300w in my sump for my 125. it does perfect and i never mess with it. i vent my lids according to the room temperature and its kept my tank at or around 78-80. i loved my heater so much i use the same model (different wattages) in all my tanks!

To be honest in order to save space in my sump I put 2x 250W ebo jager heaters in my overflow.

I think you're going to want to get the sponge filtering system right after the first area in the sump, no sensation pulling species of fish feces all the way through the sump. Then it will just become a nitrate manufacturer.

Actually when you first got your tank and asked what the stuff was that came with it I'm the one that told you it was a temperature controller. lol

I have a ranco controller on one tank and am going to get them for the others. I've tried about every kind of heater and they're all inaccurate.

I run a 250 and a 300 in my 75g sump on my 135g tank. No problems with temp so far.
