Heater Recommendation

For 125 Gallon tank.. whats the best heater for it and watt and how many do I need? I
keep datnoids.

2 stealths or ebo jagers. go with 2 heaters so they dont have to work as hard and if one fails you have a back up. id say two 250watt heaters would do the trick.

How long do u keep ur heater? I think my is like 2-3 yrs old.. and the temp setting thingy is all wrong... set at 80" water went up to 90

Get a jager, now by eheim. When temp is off like that let it raise the temp. When it levels out, pull the blue thing on the top, adjust the dial to the same temp as the water and push the blue thing back in. Turn the dial to desired temp, and away you go.

Are the jagers shatter proof? Someone mentioned a heater guard but I haven't see any for the size I need which is going to be either a 250w or a 300w.

Titanium heater by Won brothers. It has a dial setting outside of the tank. Great heaters.
