What make and model Heater is that?...That would be cost effective...

Once I get the central system done, I will be switching over to titanium heaters and will be getting rid of the rest of mine. The titaniums allow you to buy one big heater to run everything. You can get them at www.jehmco.com for a reasonable price.

It's Biotherm. Not top of the line but not bottom of the line. I should add the the tank is constructed with 3/4" acrylic and the sump is insulated with R-13 batts in the 2x4 frame then lined with 3/4" R-4 rigid foam boards.

I originally had (2) 250s in it then learned that one died (or never worked) and the one single element continued to serve just fine. And no it doesn't run all of the time. I see the indicator light off more than I see it on.

I do have a spare 250 on the shelf though. ;)

My 570 Glass, can run off two, 300 watt external, "600 Watt" But I choose to have three 300 watt, running "900 watt". Gives me a back up if one fails. Keeps the Temp very stable within 26.9 to 27.1 Celsius 24/7. The Room temp is around 20 Celsius.
