I was wondering if I could use a heater thats rated for 15-20 into this 50 gallon bucket I got and just put it all the way up would it heat it, it's just for some guppies i'm trying to breed would that work

if you use it set it low. guppies do better in water in the mid to low 70's rather than high 70's or low 80's like everything else.
I used to run one on my guppy tank but I doubt it ever came on, I had it set to 74 or 5 or so.

sweet i haven't put a heater in and it's staying around the mid 70's i'll have to check it later to see how they are doing how much quicker do you think they will grow and breed now that there in a huge space now (approx. 35-40 gal)
