Ehiem Jager. You wont have a problem. If you dont want to unplug your heater every W/C lay it horizontal across the back of your tank, this way it will always be fully submerged. Then your heater will last longer than your fish do.
just buy good heaters i dont think the heaters i run right now would blow but im still careful . there rena 300 watt . pet mountain sold them at about 50 before . the stores mark these at about 75 bucks , so they better not break ...
