I swear by Ebo Jager. NEVER have had a problem with them. The temperate is spot on and rarely deviates, even a *. IMO, dollar for dollar, the best heater out there.

I have been using jaegers for 15 years.They call them jaeger now no more ebo. I have never had a problem with any of them. And their also PACU proof,if you know what i mean.Tainted Glory said:

yes definitely go with a Titanium heater you will have it for a long long time... 500 watt might be a bit much how big is your tank...
I have owned one titanium (which failed), I have never had a problem with Hagen or Ebo-jaegers, of the three you listed I would get the hagen fluval tronic though I would get 2 somewhat smaller ones and put them on oppisite ends of the tank and probably run them from different powerstrips.

Personally, the most reliable and long lasting heaters I've used are Ebo Jager. I've had visi therm and titanium heaters fail after only a couple of years. My Ebo Jagers last at least 5 years.
it also depends on what kind of monsters you are keeping?
titanium is the best! if you have fish that are huge and can break glass
heaters. if not, that i would go with the hagen i have heard there a well made
product.
