This is what happens when I get bored in Canada. Doing the layout for my new aquarium build. Still have more components to design.

Haha lookin good buddy...cant wait to see actual progress and less of this goofy picture business.

Pictured in there is the proposed design for the algae scrubber I was talking about.

Need to get about another 20-30 lbs of sand, and then get some glass cut for the sump. Also need to do a leak test again, but I feel confident that the bulkhead is tight enough.

Some more progress on the wall. At this point, im done. Im not touching that God forbidden thing ever again.

Awesome...I would have liked some more structure on the right hand side...but it still is really well done.

Glad to see you have using a coarser sand. :D

I now think I see your design for the scrubber...ver interesting. Lets get this thing filled already. Feels like you have been doing this for years.

Courser sand, yes, but I'm still doing a DSB.... BWAHAHAHAAHAAHAHAHA

I do think a really fine grain sand is awesome for microfauna, but its just a pita when something agitates it. My blenny, for whatever reason, pulls a chinchilla and takes sand baths from time to time.

And im working on getting it filled up. Trying to think of something crazy I can do with the rock formation. Something that will allow me to keep lps, sps, and softies.... but in a defined manner such that I dont have to worry about them fighting each other.
