Heating my 75

Stealth heaters have a lifetime warranty. Give them a call, its worth a shot. If a 150 can heat your tank the stealth may be bad. It's just odd that it gets as hot as you say it does and it's not heating the water.

Went and bought 2 new stealth 250s as I don't care for the Hydor Theo ones. the 2 are keeping the tank at 85 right now they seem to be cycling between the 2 as sometimes one is hot and the other is cool and vise versa. Once the Ich is gone I should have no problem going back to running my tank at 82 with one and the other set at 79 for a backup.

a 75 gallon should always have 2 heaters when cranking up it a lot easier and faster and doesnt put a huge load on your 1

Yeah I just threw my 400 watt in there. keeps the temp great and doesn't run much. I do have 2 250 stealths but they just seem to fight each other.
