I was wondering if I could use a Repti-Therm under tank heater on an aquarium, for a leopard gecko? They all say don't use with aquariums, is this because if the person was going to house a turtle(with water)?

Should be OK. A terrarium and an aquarium are pretty much the same barring a slight glass thickness difference on some of them.

You want to use a UTH? They're designed for animals like leopard geckos and tanks that are made of glass. You're good to go.

It will be fine. I have been doing that for years on various sized tanks (75gal, 55gal, and 20 gal) and have never had a problem with it.

That warning means to not use it under an aquarium with water in it. You good with a leopard gecko, as they are made for glass tanks.
