That is an excelent theory! Definatly explains a lot. I have always thought the same as Suckerfish : "religion is a joke, a man made thing to keep the masses humble or stupid". What easier way to keep people under control? If the religion that I was taught is true, then every being on this planet is going to hell. Except for woodchucks and the very few humans that have never killed anything. Come on, now.....

Religion for me is "treat others as you would want to be treated". No more, no less.

I have heard so many stories about people in relations with god. Here are a few.

1) My friend's dad has a cousin who lives with her husband ( I believe) upstate new york. Every week my friend and his dad goes to visit them. At the cousin's house, near there is a grave with grandparents that have passed away and the cousin and her husband are faithful christians. Every year my friend and his dad gives them flowers. They put the flowers on the grave. and the amazing thing is that the flowers NEVER ROT OR DIE! They are in perfect condition throughout the whole year! This as my friend's father's cousin says is the work of god.

2) Another story is about a man who married a faithful christian woman. after years of marriage, one day, the woman brought the husband to church. But when the husband started to believe, he felt this swelling in his heart and his sight went WHITE. He could not see anything but hear his wife's voice. He saw this as a message from god and he thanked god for his wife who brought him to god.
