I have the same problem, my 7'' jag is starting to terrorize my tank I have about 4 or 5 cave areas in my 125 and she wants to dominate all at the same time lol if shes in one cave and a tankmate goes into another across the tank she darts over and chases them out then gaurds that one lol kind of funny but shes starting to beat the crap out of my other fish. im going to be moving my tank this weekend Im going to leave out most of the rocks and see how that works, but hit us back with the progress with yours , im curious
Heavily decorated or not for cichlid aggression?

Try side walls being covered with plants and put caves or other decor along the back wall. that's how I always set up my tanks and the fish seem to not mind swimming together in the middle, I never had a jag quite that size though 8)
Sorry everyone been pretty busy lately. Well, so far it has worked out pretty well. It's not really empty, I just removed about 50 lbs. of rock.. Now I just change up the wood a little every water change and it seems to be working a little more. I also recently added a 7" leporinus and 3 silver dollars for targets and that has helped as well. Still in the works to make it look not so blah, but here's a couple pics to give you an idea..
