I got six from Rapps. Only four survived the trip.

I have NEVER seen as much red on any heckelii then yours before! :0 Even the gorgeous one on google images (with the fabulous threadfins) I hope mine grows somewhat comparable to yours! Great fish!

honestly you guys are pretty lucky, here in aus its virtually impossible to get wc eartheaters or good quality eartheaters.
You sure you have winemelleri? doesn't look to be it...

Are you referring the big one or the medium ones?

Never seen a heckelii with that much color! Have you tried to get him a female or two and breed them?

I think the one in the pic is a female. I do have three smaller ones in the other tank.
