The handling is some what limited at first but luckily the mother is very friendly so she didn't mind me handling them.

No the male and female are not kept together b/c if she is pregnant she can get aggressive with him.

6-8 weeks

if my snake can eat it, its not a pet... they are cute though.

I seriously doubt your snake could eat a hedgehog at least not without getting hurt b/c there quills are sharp and they puff up and push their quills in different directions when scared or threatened.
