when I had iguanas one time my big one got out and was missing for over a month and it was in the middle of winter. My sister was gone on an exchange trip so we never went in here room and closed it off in order to not heat it.

One day I went in there for something and saw the iggys tail sticking out of her closest. The thing was tiny and I thought it was dead. Went to pick it up to put in a trash bag and it moved very slightly. Stuck a heat lamp on him gave him food and he lived! Its amazing how long they can go without food/water/heat and survive

No offense to you or your brother, but some how i don't think he's too suited for keeping reptiles... either way, glad to hear your beardie is still alive and kicking...

awesome story!

Thats awful! Once my iggy was out and it got really cold I thought he was dead when I found him, ran him under some hot water for a while and it brought him back to life... But geez poor beardy, I'd have to kick someone in the face if they did that to my beardies. Its great to hear success stories like this :]

You beat me to it sir. I'm glad to hear the beardie is alive, but I don't think the brother should be trusted with the life of another animal.

How old is your brother? Sounds like he might need help with some day to day activities when it comes to caring for any herps.

I'm not trying to be an ass but try and work with him. I work with my little brother all the time when it comes to animals. Its nice.
