HEEEELP! My Flowerhorn has a "Prolapse"

I put epsom salt and the hanging red thing got back to to its inside. But palet is not taking and i feed it with a live fish and ate it. So do it have still parasite in it ? Because when i go to a shop near by they said like when they have worms inside their stomach it wont take food as these worms will be full in its stomach. If they ate the fish don't give metroplus medicine. Now i am really in confusion what exactly the problem is and what should i do ?

I’d stop feeding live food. Try refeeding a mixed pellet soaked with epsom salt solution if the prolapse continues. The lack of appetite or white stringy poop suggests internal parasites. Try getting onto a pellet. Or atleast make the attempt. Would hold off on metronidazole for now cause the prolapse isn’t usually from infection.

Yup. I'd also avoid feeding live fish.
If not taking to pellets, try feeding shrimp with pellet stuffed inside .
Use a strong scent pellet that contains garlic. This food has a very strong scent and also has meds that may help deworm your fh. Your fish may not take food for 2-3 days as it has got the hang of live fish, but it's okay keep trying and when it gets hungry it will eat the pellet food. Don't get worried, your fish can easily tolerate 4-6 days without food.
