Hell of a growth rate

Too small to sex it yet. I bought it hoping for a female and then my male died. 
So who knows! It did kill it's sibling at 1.5", so I do know it's a hellion.
I'll snap some argentea photos right now. Just did a water change and the divider is out.

Ugh, that's terrible news man. He was just starting to come into his own. Hopefully you've got a male in this little guy, great growth so far!
I believe the warmer water and small constant feedings led to the development of pitting on the little umbee's head which is visible above one eye and is on the opposite gill plate, so now it's in the 100 gallon with the argentea. Utterly fearless. Well over 3".

looks like a really nice potential male. lots of freckles and a nice sheen down it's body too. keep us posted
