i got a jardini too. he killed my silver aro. my jar is at the age juvi to adult. he's pushing the one foot mark. What size is your jardini?

I checked all pictures of Aros under your thread and posted mine there too. It was a great thread to see some huge monsters as well as cute little ones. Sorry to hear about your Silver's jump & injury, hope he is fine now. Must be a herculian task to lift that heavy load & again putting him into the tank. Though droop-eyed, it has a lovely body & some huge mass, keep posting on its development. I had one silver 2 years back which outgrew my tank size & hence I gave it away. Will post pix of my Os soon.

Thank you very much.. i will have to go look in the arow thread again... I think he weights about 5 or 6 pounds at least.. and he is about 26 inches.. but my husband says you get that adrenaline rush and you don't even realize your lifting him back in...he seems good today..thanks for your best wishes... I will update some pics of him when he gets over his little bumps and scrapes.. looking forward to seeing your oscars too...

Yeah my friend, my money is on Jar either. Last week, had myself experienced its nasty bite while feeding him.

My wife has already started *****ing me to get rid of Jar as shes kinda scared & also coz this O is her favorite fish.

i think you need another tank..... then she will be happy...his and hers..= his....thats what happened with my husband and i ....
