Hello all!!!

He's so tiny!!! :D :D :D

I've got 10 goldfish in a 5ft 400ltr aquarium, one comet, one fantail one oranda and seven hybrids that I got from the C&F. There's also a Chinese algae eater in with them that my friend wants (and I'd gladly give her!) if I could just catch the darn thing. Lol

A breeding pair of silver dollars in a 4ft 250ltr community tank with 25 assorted tetras and 2 Cory catfish.

And a crowntail betta in a 2ft 120ltr tank with an upside down catfish and 5 minnows. And they all have names.. Yup, that's right, I'm the person that names my fish. :D

Nice. My betta is named Bruce Wayne.. Haha what type of betta is Joey?

He is a red veil tail, starting to look a bit peaked the last few days though, he's almost 2years old now

I've had Bruce for a little over 3 years now, and he was full size when I got him so I don't know how old he is.. But two doesn't sound that old? What size tank is he in? If you don't mind me asking..

10 gallon with a few glowlight tetras, he seems to be sleeping on the bottom quite a bit recently, he's always been pretty active. Still eating well though. I was told lifespan is only about two years. But then that's according to dr Google lol

So I just looked up bettas lifespans, and apparently Bruce is really old.. You wouldn't think it, he still chases the minnows around if one nips him, his colours are bright and defined.. I never new that 3yrs is a decent lifespan for them..

Just rang a guy at my LFS (a reputable betta breeder) and he pretty much agreed with Google, his oldest lived betta was 5 when he died, and he was a one off case apparently. According to him two-three years for most.. Duno what I've been doing for Bruce but it must be good.. Haha :D
