just wanted to introduce myself, never posted on here yet, been watching the site for a few months now, finaly decided to join, i have 3 red tiger oscars, 2 about 7in in length, and one baby about 3in. have 2 jack dempsys also about 3in in length, and 2 "jaguar's"(not sure of the actual name) and then the lone pleco.please forgive me if i dont not say the names of fish right as i am still learning all the tenichal names. anyways, look forward to being part of this great goup!!

how long do you guys think i can keep my o's in a 55 gallon tank? i would love to get a bigger setup but just cant afford it.

all three of them? not too much longer two are 7"s that's a little big.

Yeah probably not too long but check out craigs list if you are looking for a decent priced tank I know in my area craigslist is pretty reasonable.

If you can't afford it ever.... you can't have oscars that tank is proly 13" wide and an adult o can grow 15"+ . you can grow them for a while and take them to an lfs that will take them, and start over and over. or do a little research on some fish that you can house for life in the tank you already have and go from there. you can get a red devil! just one though, and no other mates lots of water changes or heavy filtration or both.
