Hello all, I am from detroit area, new to the hobby but jumping in with both feet, currently setting up 150, 120, 90 and 75 gallon tanks to house various monster fish. Can't wait to become a more active part of the community! Here are a few pics of the supplies ive been compiling and my progress thus far.

Collected all of it in a couple of short 30 min trips to my local river digging in log jams. I pretty much refuse to pay for decorations of any type, especially when I can source awesome stuff like this straight from nature any day of the week. I have plans to spend a little time and build my collection to see if there is any money in selling the wood and rocks locally to other hobbyists and aquarium shops. You think people will be interested in stuff like this?

Fantastic, those are great pieces. I’m not sure.

Hmm, I can see the bigger pieces being harder to sell. Have you considered reaching out into the reptile community to offload those large pieces? Plenty of small tree dwelling lizards that people keep, I would reckon you would be more likely to find someone interested in them for lizards than fish than someone with a tank large enough to put them in with their fish. They could always cut them up. Either way I think the reptile community might be worth looking into for those large pieces.
