Welcome to the sight. You cant go worng with current satellite led plus lights for the price. Im with pops though i didnt have an issues with the fx6 (didnt have it long enough) but the eheim 2262 blows it away.
Imo the fx just didnt move enough water to be a stand alone filter on a 6ft tank.
 
Welcome! What kind of fish are you looking to keep now, cichlids again or something else?
