I'm new around here, been lurking for a while and finally decided to make the leap and post.
Currently I have my 55g up and running. It's been running for about a year and a half, I down sized from my 90 after I sold my blue Arrowana and red tails when they got to big. At that point the fish I had were to small and my wife was unhappy she never saw them. So inevitably I took the 90 down, stored it, and here I am with a 55.
down sizing sucks lol, no more aros for me till we move lol.
Currently I have:
2 black veil angels (possible pair) I can't tell the sex lol
1 yoyo loach(had two but his buddy decided to take a ride on my power head >.<)
1 Senegal bichir.(about 2.5 inches)
1 Delhezi bichir. (baby, still had gills)
2 mystery snails.
1 black ghost.
1 rubber nose pleco
1 spotted Raphael cat
And I had a school of ten neon tetras but they all 'disappeared' except three.
The snails were an attempt to control some algae, but they haven't worked out well so far. I think my lights are just in to much so I've been cutting down on that.
I don't like the sand at all. Looks to dirty lol wish I would have stayed with gravel, I guess plants are more difficult with sand as well.
I have a fx5 for filtration, and the power head is no longer on lol.
Here's a few pictures, nothing to special.
Thanks for reading, hope to learn a lot more here. Advice is always welcome, constructive criticism encouraged.
