Hi MonsterFishKeepers!

My name is Scott and I am a sales manager with Aquarium Fish and FAMA. We are always interested in ways to continue improving the magazines and would appreciate your input. What do you like or dislike about the magazines? What would you like to see or read more about? Less about? Do you like the new FAMA and AFM covers?

If you have any questions at all about us, please ask. I'll answer everyone and if I don't have an answer personally, I'll try and find one out for you.

We are part of a special community and we're all in the same fish tank together. Let's support each other. In that way we will keep this hobby alive and thriving.

Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you.

Scott

More features on North American Native Fish, or even a column!

Hiya berko,
I would like to see more equipment ratings articles, you know the kind, what is good and what is better, and why, for filters, lights, etc. Also maybe some articles on the commercially available collection trips where you can go catch and ship your own fish.
By the way, welcome to MFK.

welcome

Welcom to MFK first off. Yes equipment reviews would be great other than the mfg. just telling you how its a ''miracle''or you'll be ''amazed''.And some articles on primitive species
Gars, lungfishes and Polypterids-Anne

I would like to see features on Flowerhorns and Arowana's. Everytime I see your magazine on the racks I see pictures of livebearers or common saltwater fish. You could fill an entire magazine with various types of Flowerhorns and Arowana's. Interview breeders, show their farms, show us and tell us what kind of equipment and food they use. Go to various LFS in SE Asia and look at what awesome fish they are selling. Take pictures to promote and grow the hobby. For me personally I'm tired of reading about plant tanks, livebearers, and common slatwater fishes. I realize this is not all you focus on but I guess its what sells the magazine. I am in sales so I know why you guys feature what you do. A member mentioned that product reviews from people other than the manufactures would be good. I agree. In the end I realize you guys dont always do articles on what I mentioned above and you occasinally although I havent seen it where you guys do something out of the norm. I dont subscribe to your magazine but if you would put somethings out of the norm then perhaps you might attract a new subscriber or occasinal buyer.

Welcome to MFK.

I would like to see an article on "illegal fish" like Snakeheads, Walking Catfish, Asian Arowana, etc. Just to know (and for others to know) exactly why they are illegal. I know they chip Asian Arowanas and yet we still can't get them even if they are chipped. Stuff like that. Thanks!
