Hi MonsterFishKeepers!

My name is Scott and I am a sales manager with Aquarium Fish and FAMA. We are always interested in ways to continue improving the magazines and would appreciate your input. What do you like or dislike about the magazines? What would you like to see or read more about? Less about? Do you like the new FAMA and AFM covers?

If you have any questions at all about us, please ask. I'll answer everyone and if I don't have an answer personally, I'll try and find one out for you.

We are part of a special community and we're all in the same fish tank together. Let's support each other. In that way we will keep this hobby alive and thriving.

Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you.

Scott

I think you should put more pics. of fish. I like reading your magazine, but when i read about most of the fish there isn't a pic. that goes with it. I know that i should do research and i do, but in my non aggressive tanki want a lot of color and i can't decide if i want it if i don't know what it looks like.

i'm subscribed to AFM. it seems like every issue has some type of livebearer article even though they have been covered a bunch of times :( . in one recent issue, the species profile was about sailfin mollies. that really made me :swear: . i do like how this sp. profile was about mudskippers  . i think there needs to be more articles on less-common fish. also, pics of fish in tanks that have pink/ multi-colored gravel shouldnt be published :( . i have a question about the tank of the month, how many entries do u get every month? i dont think there has been one tank that i've liked in the issues that i have. a nice planted tank or reef tank would be nice :) . a monster tank would be even better :headbang2 . i really enjoy the cross-word puzzles though

Yeah, a little more emphasis on SA cichlids especially would be nice. Seems like there is a lot of talk about African and CA cichlids..and a lot about the dwarfs, but there is rarely anything about the bigger and badder cichlids...like Amphilophus festae, Hoplarchus psittacus, Caquetaia, Crenicichla (especially need more on these awesome cichlids, just not enough attention given to them.), Satanoperca, and Uaru amp./ferdz. That would be a nice improvement, having an article on SA cichlids every month. Welcome aboard man!!

Thanks. I'll pass it along.

How's the weather in MN?

Weather sucks. We haven't had a decent snowstorm for months!

Hi! Thanks. It's good to be here. I'm new to all of this.

Tell me a little about yourself as a hobbyist if you don't mind. How you got started, how long you've been in it, etc etc, do you have other pets, do you read the hobbyist magazines? Which ones and why?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Make another thread on general discussions so they would notice it. I would love to see more rays, arowanas, SA's and predatory fishes.
