so the snow ...change of plans... i do want to head out there at some point, but i went to petsmart instead today....

i guess there was some sort of mistake at Petsmart... some of the fish where on sale!!!

3 angles, 3 dalmation mollies, and 3 black mollies - less then $20

I'm also living in the syracuse area. There are a couple LFS's around that are ok, but if your talking about getting p-bass or datnoids or rays there is not much around at all. I've never been to that store in auburn, ill have to check it out, but i havent seen much for LFS's selling monsters. There is a guy in Canastota that has this huge barn with tons of tanks in it and he breeds all kinds of cichlids that are pretty awesome, his store is called empire aquatics.

we have a good one down here. they have some monsters in there on occation.

Welcome to mfk! There are some real cool fish stores in Buffalo, pets plus exotics and reptiles in lockport and the fish place in noth tondawanda. Kind of a drive, but worth it imo, they are very big store and will have what your looking for at reasonable prices.
They have pbass, dats, rays, tigrinus, bichir.. a lot of options at those stores.
