Then you have to wonder what the fish thought when it was dumped..... hey someone forgot to feed me.

Lucky for the fish that you cought it.

Yeah, I hope that pseudo fishkeeper that dumped it loses their wallet......

you all are so funny! You should of seen my expression when i caught him.
I didn't even have an idea what he was. Started looking online that night and then contact DNR the next morning to comfim it. He was lucky I had an extra Tank laying around.

That's crazy!! A room mate of mine caught a pacu once in southern Indiana, but they can survive winters down there (most of the time)

Awesome catch, awesome save, and it's great to have another Hoosier on board!!

P.S. How did he fight? :naughty:

Welcome....from another Indiana member.

There was an oscar in a pond by my apartment a couple of years ago, but I was never able to catch him. I was hoping that I could rescue him too.

Glad to have you here.

You will find that Indiana members have made a move to take over the forum, and thankfully they all seem to be really cool.

I wish I could pull up a list of active Indiana members. That would prove it. :D

Well someone asked how he fought. Well he felt more like a turtle on the line more than anything, a big heavy log, but that was only for a couple of feet than he took off, the was the hard part the last 6-8 feet him tring to get a way. I really thought i had a hugh monster on the line. but i ended up with him, no supper that night, but i got a new member of the family.

It is great to having fellow hoosiers here.

Well hope to meet/ talk to you all soon or later. And everyone else too.:D
