Hi hello everybody

I am from Namibia, Africa. My hobby started off the wrong way around, with a redtail catfish I took into my care from somebody that didnt want him/her anymore. So I started building a tank and well currently am on the 2nd bigger tank for the guy. He is now about 30 cm, 12 inches long and doing just great!! His tank mates is a Zambezi Squeaker and a Pleco. If there is anybody that has real good first hand experience with RTC's please do let me know because every now and then I have a question or two..

Welcome Radimar...If you happen to live in a home with a decent sized yard perhaps you could look into digging a pond for your RTC,and what is a Zambezi Squeaker?
 
Hi guys thanx a milllion for the quick replys. Firstly my current tank is 1.5 mtr x 600 x 400 high. Two filters running, one Cannister and one, laugh at this, inflatable pool filter, cartridge removed and stuffed with sponge, this works magic for pure mechanical filtration. Secondly, the next move for the RTC is being planned to a pond.

Oops terribly sorry I forgt to answer about the Zambezi squeaker, it is family of the featherfin synodontes, will get back about precise name a bit later...:)
