• feed twice a day (morning and night)
• keep up with water changes
• trust me the rays swimming/climbing up the walls is overrated. my black diamond rays would swim up the tank and stick their noses out the water and "slap" and splash the tank. literally sounded like a waterfall every time they did that. cute and fun in the beginning, then gets really noisy

i hate it when they do that (which is all the damn time). the floor surrounding my tanks is always wet coz of exactly that. it was cute when they were smaller... but at 16" ++ that's a LOT of water being splashed around.

I put extra wide euro bracing around my grow out tank just for that reason (and to prevent an accidental escape)
