i have a wild caught rhombus, and i want him to ba as happy as possible so i want to make him a replica of the amazon rive for him chemestry whise and so far its not been easy, my ph is normally 7 or greater my hardness is 1500 or more and my is below a stable amount and idk what my acidity is but i assume high and idk how to measure it. but in my tank i have some plants, 3 japaneese moss balls, and 2 amazon swords. what other plants can i add withh low light. i was considering duck weed but wasnt sure is it would make the light in the tank for the other plants too low i also have two 10' peices of drift wood, and ive considered peat moss but dont kno much about is any expert advie is more than welcome

it's uaually best to leave your water alone. fish will adapt to a different ph. I have wild discus in 7.6 ph and after more than a year they a doing great. adjusting your ph can cause problems if not done right. 7.0 is not a bad ph for any fish. if you want floating plants get mini waterlettuce, frogbit, or brazillian pennywort. duckweed will overtake your tank and cling to everything.

i a[ppperciate it but my rhom is wild caught so he gets stressed when theres change from hisnatural invironment
