Hello. Is this the best forum to call home?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Welcome aboard. I have found everyone on here to be helpful. True you have some trolls but you are going to have that everywhere. I agree with kewpiefishypewple what’s a “ viel tail cichlid “?
A ram with elongated fins. I want to breed that guy but he/she seems happy :^]

Was thinking that he/she needs a bigger tank even though the 10 gallon is planted.

I was a big fan of w_ater_wolves when it was still around but this forum is elite in every way. Welcome.

I like MFK, it's got great people even if most people on here keep fish that would love to eat mine and I am jealous, but I might be one of the BS posters, so see what that's worth.
Aww thanks everyone! I'll post pictures of my tanks later :>

Still trying to figure out if I should put the rainbows in the 75 or keep then in the 29......... I would really like a community tank with f8 puffers........
Boesmanni are big, active fish, F8's are not. I would keep the F8 in the 29 and put the rainbows in the 75 as dithers for some other fish. That would still leave room for bumble bee gobies/mollies/guppies with the F8.

I use several fish forums including mfk. This one is always first on my tablets most visited site list. Lol
It's the most active forum I've come across, and to me that makes it more interesting overall.
You'll like it here.

This forum is amazing! I'm not sure though if I'm biased because I'm staff, or I became staff because I'm biased. Chicken and the egg, really.

We're MONSTER fish keepers not only because some of us have tanks as large as a swimming pool, but because of the passion in this community. Some of our most repsected members here don't even have large tanks. What matters is that you care about your charges and whether or not you're willing to do what it takes to better yourself. We think of ourselves as the elite, always trying to better ourselves and the hobby.

Welcome aboard! This forum has got me from mildly into fish to 7 tanks! In under two years as well! The people here are amazing and we'd love to see your tanks :)

Pictures of the 33 gallon and 25 gallon long. Will get other pics today.

For the 75 was thinking 5 boseman rainbows (sorta aggressive towards eachother.....), 6 scarlet badis, school of glass catfish, maybe 6-8 tribanded orange sumo loaches, pearl gourami? Maybe paradise fish? (What's a pretty substitute that won't get dwarf gourami disease?), and maybe a betta or female boseman rainbows as I think they are 5 males........
