i have the same problem, my aro is around 9 inches and killed his two younger sisters. i recently got a longfin red tiger oscar (male) from what the breeder told me. but the oscar doesnt bite, looks more like a headbutt. My aro's jumped from the tank- and has really made cleaning the tank a pain. i have 2 plecos in there, but that wont clean the tank forever, ideas?

Note pleco only eat alge/and sometimes meat .They don't eat poo ...poo is amonia ..amonia = death :l
So Do what we do each week a WATER CHANGE :headbang2\
Drain the poo and nasty water put in treated clean water done :D

i am 13 and new to monster fish ... current owner of a bichir , an arowana, and two oscars ... had a flowerhorn which died recently :( dk why ...

i need help with my oscars and arowana ... i bought those three in the same week along with a new tank ... the oscars are very aggresive and attacks my arowana alot ... any way i can prevent that ??... the oscars and arowana are now in seperate tanks, but the tank the oscars are in is not very big and the oscars will soon out grow it ... any way the oscars and arowana can live together in harmony ?? or maybe if my arowana grows bigger they might not attack it anymore ?? ... if so what type of food (live, freeze-dried etc.) will help my arowana to grow faster and stronger ??

sorry for awful english :(
You could return the oscars and get another ones AFTER your arowana esablish his territory and get a bit bigger :)
