so i gave in.. and got the Butti today! 19bucks for a i wid say 10-11 inch buttikofer. It is Bigger than i thought lol! thought it was smaller than my peacock. In the store i tried to put it with 2incher parrots and yellowtail rasboras. Did not bother them. probably too small lol

anyway.. him and the peacock bass is already at it...!!
both are flaring already!! waaaaaahhh!! lol

shud i release this monster or am i just looking for havoc??

Those things are so aggressive. I've never had luck with them. It will most likely become a nightmare. Gooooooood Luck.

Every buttikoferi I've ever kept turned into a bastard of a fish. You choose which fish you wanna keep.

He means release from a divided situation I think. He knows way better then to wild release a captive fish. He has them divided....

humm. Don't know two much about both species. But I can say that what I do to introduce fish is feed both very well. and then introduce them with the lights off..

but that was introducing prey to predetor.. So in this situation. I cant really say.
